Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a structural/civil engineering support professional to assist engineers, project managers, and field staff in due diligence, remediation, and construction of building and infrastructure projects. You will help with data collection, design development, and documentation for reports and permits.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work on site investigations, modeling, and calculations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
• Experience with design software listed in tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic professional structural engineering work on site conditions and project designs.
• Assist with research, inspections, and conformance with applicable codes and permits.
• Support development of technology, modeling techniques, and design requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation with calculations and sketches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage site work plans.
