Intermediate Python Developer

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT. As an Intermediate Python Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Security Cooperation Application Development, Sustainment, and Support (SCDASS) services for the Enterprise Application Development and Support Division (EADSD) within Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Information Management and Technology (IM&T) Directorate.

You will play a crucial role and be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing application code in an Agile Scrum environment.

  • Lead/Manage/Support maintenance, enhancement and modernization of complex DoW applications.
  • Collaborates with multi‑site team to identify, resolve and test solutions to issues with Production system.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and supporting Python.
  • 7+ years of object‑oriented development experience.
  • 3+ years of MS SQL and T‑SQL experience.
  • Experience Agile/Scrum software development environment.
  • SECRET security clearance.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Cloud environments.
  • DoW system development experience.
  • Security+ certification.

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
