Job summary

Diné Development Corporation seeks an Intermediate Power BI Developer to design, develop, and sustain data visualizations in a secure enterprise environment within Quantico, VA. You will build well-modeled Power BI solutions, integrate approved data sources, and ensure outputs remain reliable and governable.

You will gather requirements, develop dashboards, optimize DAX calculations, and provide user training while maintaining documentation for ongoing sustainment and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Power BI/Power Platform development experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Microsoft PL-300 and/or PL-200/PL-900 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, SharePoint lists, spreadsheets, cloud systems).
• Develop and optimize measures and business logic using DAX for insights and KPIs.
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot refresh and performance issues, and improve dashboard usability and scalability.
• Maintain documentation and provide user training for adoption and sustainment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking an Intermediate Power BI Developer to develop and sustain data visualizations and dashboards to support operational reporting and decision-making in a secure enterprise environment. This role builds accurate, well-modeled Power BI solutions, integrates approved data sources, and ensures reporting outputs remain reliable, maintainable, and aligned to governance constraints. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* Responsibilities: * Gather and analyze business and reporting requirements from stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making and organizational objectives.

• Integrate and manage data from multiple approved sources, including databases, SharePoint lists, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems, performing data extraction, transformation, and modeling activities using Power Query and related technologies.
• Develop and optimize advanced calculations, measures, and business logic using DAX to deliver meaningful insights, key performance indicators, and interactive reporting capabilities.
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot report refresh and performance issues, and implement enhancements to improve dashboard usability, scalability, reliability, and overall reporting efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of datasets, data models, report logic, and sustainment procedures while providing user support, knowledge transfer, and training to ensure effective adoption and ongoing relevance of reporting solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications: * Years of Experience: 3+ years Power BI / Power Platform development experience.
• Education Level: High school diploma/GED.
• Clearance Requirements: Must have active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
• Certification Requirements: Microsoft PL-300 (preferred) and/or PL-200/PL-900 (preferred).
• Travel may be required for position.
• Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Strong DAX and Power Query skills; understanding of governance constraints; ability to build role-aware reporting when required.
