Job summary

Adecco is hiring an Intermediate Assembler in Golden Valley, MN to join a manufacturing partner. Work on mechanical/electrical assembly with a team to build equipment from start to finish, meeting quality and safety standards.

You will rotate through stations, perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean workspace. This temp-to-hire role offers steady hours and potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly concepts.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Follow work instructions to meet quality standards.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and communicate results.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Identify and report safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S principles.
• Rotate through multiple assembly stations, including main line roles.
• Float to different lines within the value stream after training.
• Identify common assembly bottlenecks (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
