Job summary

AdventHealth’s Texas Health Huguley facility is seeking a results-oriented Project Manager with 3+ years of large IT project experience. You will initiate and deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget, collaborating with SMEs to build WBS, schedules, and risk plans.

Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership are essential to drive cross-functional teams. You’ll manage scope, changes, and reporting, while leveraging PM tools and methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Proficient at monitoring progress, forecasting, and communicating cost, schedule, and risks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read process flows and contribute to new flows.
  • Experience with project management processes, standards and methodologies.
  • Ability to act decisively with limited information.
  • Development of WBS, interdependencies and critical paths; estimate effort.
  • Ability to present effectively to stakeholders.
  • Forecast risks and implement risk responses to keep projects on track.
  • Persuasion and conflict management across diverse viewpoints.
  • Synthesis of information from multiple sources to propose options and impacts.
  • Adaptability in changing environments with competing priorities.

Job Description:

Manages multiple projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and scope-compliant delivery. Facilitates the development of project scope statements, defining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to develop Work Breakdown Structures and project schedules, identifying predecessors, dependencies, and critical paths. Negotiates and influences cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluates actual progress, provides regular schedule updates, and manages conflicts, issues, and risks through to resolution. Proactively manages changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, identifying impacts and providing recommendations. Updates project tracking systems to monitor details including resource allocation, change requests, issues, risks, overdue tasks, key decisions, milestones, and deliverables, providing formal and ad hoc reports as needed. Other duties as assigned.

  • Experienced utilizing project management processes, standards and methodology [Required]

  • Knowledgeable on the development of work breakdown structures, determination of interdependencies, identification of a projects critical path, estimation of level of effort and then how to use techniques to proactively manage the project to successfully deliver the goals and objectives of the project [Required]

  • Ability to foresee risks and develop a comprehensive risk response plan and keep projects on track [Required]
  • Experience in persuasion and influencing by understanding the various points of view and achieving meaningful interaction. Comfortable negotiating and managing conflict [Required]
