Job summary

Equilibrium is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Hydrogeology team. The role focuses on hydrogeological investigations, groundwater monitoring, data analysis, and conceptual modeling to support engineering, mining, and natural resource projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to high-quality deliverables on US and cross-border project sites.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of consulting or industry experience in hydrogeology or related field.
• Experience planning investigations, groundwater monitoring, drilling, well installation, sampling, and testing.
• Experience analyzing hydrogeological data and developing conceptual hydrogeological models.
• Experience preparing technical reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Proficient in Excel, GIS, Leapfrog; Access or SQL is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and own technical work.
• Experience in mining sector and bilingual English/French assets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver hydrogeological investigations and monitor programs.
• Coordinate field programs, data analysis, and model development.
• Communicate findings to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support project delivery.
• Assist with proposals and client relationships.
• Identify health, safety, and environmental risks and ensure compliance.
