BATLIBOI STUDIO is a boutique architecture and interior design studio that works closely with our clients as collaborators. We reimagine spaces with intention, merging our unique vision with our clients aspirations. We bring the same thoughtfulness to our collaboration as we do to every place and detail we design.

We are growing the team and looking for an Intermediate Architect / Designer, in a full-time hybrid role. We are looking for candidates that share our enthusiasm for and curiosity about design, and given the boutique nature of our practice, candidates must be able to take initiative and work independently. We are looking for a team member to make significant contributions to the design, production, and administration of projects through all phases of development and construction, including interiors and furniture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work through all phases from concept through construction
• Prepare design presentations
• Prepare DOB and Landmark filings
• Assist with CA, including bidding and site visits

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-6 years of experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and Google Workplace/ Suite.
• Experience in space planning and material selection, preferably with a background in residential interiors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Previous experience in high-end commercial, institutional, or residential projects is a plus, especially with FF&E

The position is hybrid, primarily in-person at our office in Brooklyn, with some remote flexibility.
