Intermediate Architect / Job Captain – High-Rise Residential & Mixed-Use Projects (NYC)

An award-winning architecture firm in New York City—renowned for its large-scale residential towers and transformative urban work—is seeking an Intermediate Architect / Job Captain to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to contribute to iconic multifamily and mixed-use developments that shape the NYC skyline.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed construction documents (CDs) and support the construction administration (CA) phase using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Collaborate with senior architects on design development, presentation materials, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants (MEP, structural, etc.) to ensure documentation accuracy and technical alignment.
• Support zoning and building code reviews, particularly NYC Building Code, ADA, and FHA requirements.
• Manage documentation quality across all project phases.
• Contribute to technical detailing, coordination, and internal project reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 3–6+ years of experience with NYC high-rise residential and/or mixed-use projects.
• Strong technical skills with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Deep understanding of NYC codes, zoning, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
