Position Overview

The Intermediate Architect / Job Captain will play a key role in the design and development of medium to large-scale healthcare and medical projects. This individual will gain hands-on experience in all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Develop plans for existing buildings where original documents are unavailable.
• Conduct preliminary studies to determine space and design requirements, including on-site measurements and sketches.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
• Review shop drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Provide support to Architectural Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in an architectural design environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Procore is a plus).
• Strong understanding of architecture, building materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
