Loci Architecture is an award-winning firm seeking a technically skilled architect to join our team for multiple projects in design, production, and construction phases, including school and institutional work.

This role emphasizes strong Revit proficiency, NYC Building Code knowledge, and collaboration with clients, officials, consultants, and contractors to deliver buildable solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Licensed or actively pursuing licensure to practice architecture in New York State.
• Minimum of four years of overall experience in New York City architectural offices since earning a professional degree.
• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree in the United States or equivalent earned abroad.
• Expertise with Revit, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• LEED Accreditation or Passive House certification.
• Experience with the NYC Building Code, Zoning Resolution, Energy Code, and DOB filing documents and procedures.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Job description

Loci Architecture is an award-winning firm with almost 30 years of experience completing academic, residential, preservation, and community projects. We are seeking a technically skilled architect to join our team on several exciting projects in various stages of design, production, and construction, including school and institutional projects.

This position requires strong design and technical proficiency in Revit, as well as knowledge of the NYC building codes, with experience on school projects considered a plus. The candidate should be comfortable communicating with co-workers, clients, agency officials, consultants, and contractors. This role requires a disciplined project approach that translates the firm’s vision into coordinated, buildable solutions while working collaboratively with an entire project team, and ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
