Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH seeks an Interiors Supervisor for Learjet Tucson. You will lead the interior modifications team, manage projects end-to-end, and serve as the client liaison to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years in interior modifications with at least 1 year in supervision, plus an A&P or Repairman Certificate and strong office software skills. Hybrid work options are referenced in the company's policy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in aircraft interior modifications, including one year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • A&P or Repairman Certificate is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to resolve stressful situations effectively.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, AMS, Pivotal and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to general Bombardier Work Requirements.
  • Supervise modification team personnel and provide training when required.
  • Plan and manage interior projects through all phases of activity.
  • Act as customer point of contact for projects and resolve aircraft issues.
  • Develop team and strategy plan for future interior/modifications development.
  • Inspect interior, quote, and issue proposals for interior shop work.
  • Plan and coordinate vendors, parts, materials, and data for interior projects.
  • Cultivate and maintain a local vendor base and periodically inspect for quality.
  • Coordinate local customer drop-ins and mobile repairs.

In your role, you will:

  • 1. Adhere to general Bombardier Work Requirements

  • 6. Inspect interior, quote and issue proposals for interior shop work
  • 7. Plan (create W / O and SVO’s) and coordinate vendors, order parts, materials and data for interior projects. Cover for Booth Planner as needed
  • 8. Cultivate and maintain a local vendor base and inspect periodically for quality of service
  • 9. Coordinate local customer drop-ins and mobile repairs
How to thrive in this role?
  • 1. You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in performing aircraft interior modifications, which must include 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
  • 2. You have an A&P or Repairman Certificate
  • 3. You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments
  • 4. Confident in resolution of stressful situations
  • 5. You have working knowledge of a variety of computer software programs (i.e. SAP, AMS, Pivotal, Microsoft Office)
