Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Interiors Superintendent to lead on-site operations for high-quality interior construction projects in the Chicago area. You will oversee field crews, coordinate trades, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on problem solving on interior build-outs, renovations, and commercial fit-outs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site field operations for interior construction projects from mobilization through close-out.
• Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, staging, and manpower planning.
• Enforce all safety protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs, monitor progress, and report status to project management.
• Ensure proper interpretation and execution of construction documents, submittals, and RFIs.
• Manage site planning, sequencing, and coordination to minimize delays and conflicts.
• Build positive working relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partners.

Job Details

As a Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the safe and efficient execution of interior construction projects. You'll oversee field crews, manage subcontractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will be critical in delivering outstanding results on projects where precision, coordination, and workflows are essential.
