Job summary

City of New York's DCAS invites an Interiors Project Manager/Space Analyst - Level 2 to join the Workplace Services team. Focus is on space planning, design, and assessment of interior office space to optimize operations across City agencies.

The role supports space standards, furniture coordination, IT/AV planning, and project documentation while liaising with client agencies and external consultants. Residency is generally required in NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of space planning/layout experience in office environments.
• High school diploma and 5 years of space planning/lease experience with substitutions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Workplace Services in guiding architectural staff to program agency needs per DCAS Space Standards.
• Develop space planning and test fits, coordinate furniture and IT/AV systems.
• Review Scope of Work and construction docs; maintain planning standards.
• Support budget review, lease language, furniture processing, and external consultant coordination.
• Maintain client agency relationships and provide project management support.
