Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Services in Piney Flats, TN, is seeking an Interiors Installer to install interior kits on aircraft to customer specifications. The role involves fabricating interior components, fitting plastic, carpet and upholstery, and reading drawings and installation instructions.

The candidate should have 2+ years of interior removal/modification/installation experience, with upholstery/sewing being a plus.

Qualifications

In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the Aircraft Services team, installing interior kits on aircraft according to technical data and customer specifications.

What you’ll be doing as an Interior Installer

Skills You Bring To this Role

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with interior removal, modification, installation, and/or other related duties.
• Additional experience may be a plus.
• Upholstery or sewing experience may be a plus.
• Ability to perform tasks with little to no rework.
• Ability to demonstrate safe and compliant work habits at all times, to include use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
• Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
