Join to apply for the INTERIOR TECHNICIAN- 2nd SHIFT role at Dassault Falcon Jet

Are you an Aircraft Interior Technician who builds, modifies, installs, and inspects interior components in aircraft, works from sketches or 3D models, has at least one year of basic carpentry experience, and can use drills, belt, disc, drum sanders, and other common hand tools? If so, APPLY TODAY!

Dassault Falcon Jet is building a state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB), Melbourne, Florida. The facility will serve customers across North and South America, accommodate all current Falcon models including the new Falcon 10X, and perform major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models.

We are seeking a full-time 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4/10 schedule) Interiors Technician in 2025, responsible for custom cabinet installation and/or upholstery work, fabricating, assembling, and installing products such as window panels, headliners, decorative panels, access panels, etc., with the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks within allocated man-hours and schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install interior products.
  • Install main cabin cabinets, such as galley, crew closet, entertainment cabinets, window shades, side ledges, tables, mid-run cabinets, lavatory cabinets, etc.
  • Install and test final assemblies, including sinks, water, air, and oxygen systems.
  • Perform functional checks on installed systems and mechanical assemblies.
  • Install and fit carpeting, cockpit and cabin seats, and perform related testing.
  • Operate standard shop equipment and document work accurately.
  • Maintain a professional manner, keep work areas clean, and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of basic carpentry or related experience.
  • Ability to read sketches or 3D models and follow written instructions.
  • Proficiency with drills, sanders, and hand tools.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in standing positions, entering/exiting aircraft repeatedly.
Additional Qualifications
  • Technical training in aircraft structure or maintenance.
  • Experience in servicing, modifying, or repairing aircraft.
  • Experience in custom cabinet installation or upholstery work.
Working Conditions
  • Hangar and ramp environments with variable temperatures.
  • Potential exposure to glue, resin, wood dust, and loud noise.
