Responsibilities:

• Service commercial refrigeration equipment and systems (walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.)
• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Test lines, components, and connections for leaks
• Repair or replace defective equipment and components
• Discuss system malfunctions with users and verify repairs
• Service HVAC systems to improve efficiency (change filters, clean coils)
• Install and adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers
• Communicate with customers about repair status
• Order and install replacement parts

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in any weather
• Universal EPA Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug test
• Operate and maintain company vehicle safely
• Availability for after-hours service
• Provide excellent customer service
• Experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, preventative maintenance (preferred)
• Own tools (basic hand tools, gauges, power tools)
• Company provides tools: ladders, vacuum pumps, leak detectors, etc.
