Job summary

Perkins & Will Inc. is seeking an Interior Technical Designer to translate design concepts into precise construction documents using BIM, Revit, and 3D modeling. You will help ensure environments meet project standards and client expectations.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, interior designers, and consultants, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with contractors to integrate technical requirements and regulatory standards into the design process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local building codes, zoning, and construction techniques.
• Experience in construction document preparation and field observation.
• Sustainable building practices experience or commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical drawings and contract documents for interior spaces.
• Coordinate with project team to integrate design intent into drawings.
• Lead BIM model creation and maintain standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
• Support construction phase with technical guidance.
