Job summary

United Contractor Services in Kennesaw, GA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Division 10 Specialties team to take projects from estimate through procurement, delivery, and closeout. You will coordinate procurement, lead times, and schedules while communicating with general contractors, architects, and suppliers; the role is in-office, full-time, with a clear path to a Project Manager seat.

Estimate coordination, documentation, and daily communication are essential as you support

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in construction, estimating, or project coordination.
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Clear communication and a habit of following through.
• Interest in specialty products and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and bidding under supervision, reviewing plans and specs to identify solutions.
• Project execution: coordinate procurement, lead times, deliveries, and schedules to milestones.
• Documentation: quotations, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and freight claims.
• Communication: be the point of contact for general contractors, architects, subcontractors, vendors, installers, and customers.
