Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Interior Project Manager for a prominent Southeast contractor. The role will lead multiple Class A office interior projects, overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance.

You will drive preconstruction planning, collaborate with estimating teams, and maintain strong client, architect, and field-team relationships to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction.
  • Strong background delivering Class A office interior projects.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and project controls platforms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interior Project Manager should have:



  • 5+ years of project management experience within commercial construction.

  • Strong background delivering Class A office interior projects.

  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.

  • Knowledge of construction management software and project controls platforms.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
