Purpose
Participate in an on-going and preventative maintenance program for buildings and areas assigned. Work as a team player with a common goal of providing a safe and clean environment for all persons living and working at Little City Foundation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The list of essential duties and responsibilities, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks to be performed. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to the position.

1. Communicate all major problems to the Building Maintenance Manager.
2. Maintain assigned buildings including but not limited to: plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, lock repair, appliance repair, and replacement of broken glass and screens.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy working environment.
4. Participate in preventive maintenance program.
5. Submit all required paperwork to the Manager.
6. Complete monthly building inspections and reports for assigned buildings.
7. Be on call on assigned days, including weekends.
8. Assist in purchasing supplies/parts as directed by Maintenance Manager.
9. Assist in training building maintenance staff.
10. Provide input into hiring decisions.
11. Assist contractors as directed.
12. Know all emergency guidelines as noted in Disaster Plan Manual.
13. Follow rules and regulations of governing boards as provided by the Agency.
14. Perform duties in all other Facility Maintenance areas as directed, including set-up, furniture moving, and snow removal.
15. Maintain annual American Heart Association certification in First Aid and CPR.
16. Complete required training and re-training as per Little City Foundation policies or supervisor’s instructions.
