Responsibilities
  • Perform routine interior painting of various buildings with general guidance. Possess knowledge of paint types, conditions for effective painting, and equipment used.
  • Complete resident-requested repairs, including drywall repair and touch-ups, within 24 hours.
  • Finish all maintenance work on vacant homes within WBPC standards.
  • Handle on-call service requests and emergency calls as required. Cross-training into other maintenance tasks may be necessary.
  • Participate in routine inspections, including quality control and move-in inspections.
  • Paint common areas, maintenance shops, community centers, and district offices.
  • Report maintenance concerns for repairs in homes, community, and common areas.
  • Maintain and update service requests using Yardi Mobile (if applicable).
  • Use standard hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow OSHA safety regulations, local laws, and WBPC SOPs.
  • Adhere to safe work practices for painting projects, including confined space entry, chemical handling, PPE usage, ladder safety, and working at heights.
  • Perform interior painting and exterior touch-ups, caulking, drywall repair, etc.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of related painting experience.
  • Basic understanding of interior painting and use of tools like paint sprayers and hand tools.
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers, managers, vendors, and residents.
  • Basic computer skills, including operating mobile devices and PCs.
  • Availability for on-call work, emergency calls, and off-hours work, including overtime if required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required.
