Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Optical Engineering preferred).
• 3+ years designing and developing interior lighting systems.
• Demonstrated Program Management from kickoff to post Job#1.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate body interior lighting systems.
• Support all phases from concept to production release.
• Collaborate with Design Studio, D&R Engineers, and CAD designers worldwide to develop 3D CAD models and optical simulations meeting appearance and functional requirements.
• Utilize Catia V5 and SPEOS to develop efficient designs meeting customer expectations.
• Ensure designs meet tooling and manufacturing feasibility.
• Support validation through the Ford DV process and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide design support and resolution for launch issues and SDS/DFMEA development.
