Job summary

Carter Custom Millwork, a division of Carter Lumber, is seeking team members for interior door assembly. You will review work orders, prepare materials, and set up equipment to build interior doors according to schedules.

As part of a growth-focused, family-owned company, you will use power and hand tools, perform hinge/lockset prep, and ensure accuracy in component cutting and installation while maintaining a fast pace with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using a variety of tools is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• General carpentry skills preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review each work order and ensure proper materials are available.
• Set up the necessary equipment and material to assemble interior doors according to the order.
• Cut components accurately, hinge/lockset prep, and fastenings jambs, stops, and casings.
• Operate various assembly equipment including power, air, and hand tools.
• Complete orders accurately and according to the schedule.
