Job description

Interior Designer / Project Manager

A growing residential and commercial interior architectural design firm is seeking a dynamic Interior Designer / Project Manager for a full-time, direct hire position in the St. Louis area. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.

Desired Skills :

If you have a creative point of view, enjoy collaborating in a team environment, have a strong sense of ownership, possess natural problem-solving abilities, and are well-organized when working independently, you may be our next Project Manager. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the project management cycle :

  • Pre-construction (if applicable), drafting, sourcing, purchasing and order management, schedule management, coordination, and installation.

You will serve as the primary owner for your projects, supporting the Principal. This role involves being client-facing and working closely with vendors, so the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with both is key. Knowledge of trade-only vendors would be an advantage.

Desired Qualifications :

Ideally, you will have completed an appropriate certificate program or hold a design degree. Residential interiors experience of two or more years is preferred. Candidates MUST have a strong technical skill set with industry-related programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and InDesign (NOTE: Candidates without drafting skills will not be considered). Please highlight this experience in your application. A vehicle is also required for independent travel to appointments with clients, vendors, and the Boston Design Center.

Experience :
  • AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Residential Interior Design: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Revit: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

Please apply for immediate consideration. Thank you!
