Pfluger Architects is seeking an Interior Designer II in Dallas, TX. You will support senior designers, develop interior concepts, and collaborate with architects to align interior and architectural plans.

The role emphasizes furniture selection, drawings, and client communication to realize design intent. Ideal candidates have a professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
• Progress toward interior design licensure through NCIDQ is expected.
• Minimum of three years of interior design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Dynamo.
• Experience selecting finishes and FF&E within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead in pre-design meetings to inspire client vision.
• Research design trends, materials and furnishings to propose ideas.
• Develop interior design concepts with sketches, renderings and diagrams.
• Create floor plans, furniture layouts and room arrangements.
• Select finishes, furniture and lighting aligned with design intent and budget.
• Prepare material boards and client presentations.
• Apply sustainable design principles whenever possible.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and project team to meet schedules.
• Mentor junior staff and support licensure progress.
