Job summary

HKS, Inc. in Dallas seeks an experienced Interior Designer to lead interior design efforts across programming, conceptual design and documentation. The role requires collaboration with teams to develop interiors concepts aligned with client vision and architectural concepts.

The ideal candidate will have NCIDQ certification, a 5+ year track record, and strong proficiency in Revit, visualization tools, and FF&E selections to support design intent.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Typically 5+ years of experience.
• NCIDQ certification required.
• Sustainable design accreditation strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on all phases of the design process including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, document preparation and construction administration.
• Develop interiors concepts based on client vision, project scope and architectural concept.
• Generate renderings and visuals that convey design concepts and prepare finish plans; select materials for construction.
• Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
• Coordinate documentation efforts for interiors projects with minimal guidance.
• Participate in and may lead design presentations internally and externally.
