Job summary

ASR International Corporation seeks an experienced Interior Designer to support NAVFAC Northwest in planning, design, and construction for DoD facilities. You will develop finish schedules, furniture plans, and related design documentation, using Revit and AutoCAD, while coordinating with government clients and project teams.

Requirements include a CIDA-accredited program, NCIDQ or state licensure, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required; green card holders not eligible.
• Must pass a T1 security background check.
• CIDA-accredited program completion.
• NCIDQ certification or current state licensure.
• Minimum five years of interior design experience on facilities projects.
• Must not be affiliated with a furniture dealership or vendor.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop room finish schedules, finish plans, finish boards, and furniture plans.
• Perform best-value determinations and coordinate collateral equipment.
• Prepare interior design documentation using Revit and related software.
• Review design submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for compliance with applicable codes, UFC criteria, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams, government stakeholders, and project managers.
• Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.
• Support weekly status reporting and project documentation requirements.
