Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks a Senior Interior Designer to provide on-site, expert interior design support for NAVFAC SE projects at NAS Jacksonville, FL. You will lead interior design packages, space planning, and FF&E, coordinating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders from planning through occupancy.

Requirements include 10+ years of interior design experience for DoD/federal projects, a relevant degree (CIDA/NAAB), and NCIDQ desired.

Qualifications

Ten (10) years of professional, code-compliant interior design experience for facilities, including new construction and renovation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA-accredited) or Architecture with interior design experience.
NCIDQ certification is desired.
On-site, full-time position at NAS Jacksonville, FL with standard 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities

Provide interior design support for planning, design, construction, and occupancy of Navy facilities.
Lead comprehensive interior design packages, including SID/FF&E, and cost estimates.
Develop space plans, finish schedules, and presentation materials for new and renovated facilities.
Review RFPs, scopes of work, and submittals for compliance with criteria and codes.
Coordinate budgets and procurement documentation.
Apply advanced interior design concepts to meet customer requirements; mentor junior staff.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with architects/engineers for design integration.
Lead project meetings with stakeholders and user groups to ensure coordination.
