Job summary

ASR International Corporation in Bremerton/Silverdale area is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to support NAVFAC Northwest with design and documentation for DoD facilities. You will develop interior design solutions, finish schedules, furniture layouts, and related documentation using Revit and related software.

The role requires a CIDA-accredited program, NCIDQ certification or equivalent licensure, and at least five years of interior design experience for facilities projects.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
• Pass a T1 security background check.
• Completion of a program accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or equivalent.
• NCIDQ certification or current state licensure, certification, or registration.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing interior design tasks for facilities projects.
• Must not be affiliated with a furniture dealership, vendor, or manufacturer.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop room finish schedules, finish plans, finish boards, and furniture plans.
• Perform best-value determinations and coordinate collateral equipment.
• Prepare interior design documentation using Revit and related software.
• Review design submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for compliance with applicable codes, UFC criteria, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams, government stakeholders, and project managers.
• Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.
• Support weekly status reporting and project documentation requirements.
