Job summary

ASR International Corporation is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to provide Design Technical Support for NAVFAC Northwest, supporting planning, design, and construction projects with interior design solutions, finish schedules, and furniture plans for DoD facilities.

The candidate will collaborate with multi-discipline teams, review submittals for code compliance, and prepare documentation using Revit.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required for the role.
Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
Completion of a program accredited by CIDA or equivalent.
NCIDQ certification or current state licensure/registration.
Minimum of five (5) years of interior design experience for facilities projects.
Must not be affiliated with a furniture dealership, vendor, or manufacturer.
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop room finish schedules, finish plans, finish boards, and furniture plans.
Prepare interior design documentation using Revit and related software.
Review design submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for codes and UFC compliance.
Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams, government stakeholders, and project managers.
Prepare technical reports, correspondence, and presentation materials.
Support weekly status reporting and project documentation requirements.
