Job summary

DIRTT Environmental Solutions is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to guide projects from concept to realization using 21st century tools. You will lead design work with Design Editor and BIM coordination, collaborating with Architects and clients to define scope and deliver unique experiences.

Minimum 3–5 years of DIRTT experience, a design degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are required. The role emphasizes fast-paced delivery, attention to detail, and proactive problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture required.
• Proficient reading, analyzing, and interpreting architectural drawings.
• Experience with Design Editor, AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Strong time management, accuracy, and ability to work fast-paced.

Responsibilities

• Review space plans with the project team.
• Design client projects using Design Editor, starting from scratch or from CAD/Revit files.
• Collaborate with Architects, design firms, and clients to define DIRTT scope.
• Lead pre-construction activities in early project stages.
• Create pricing packages and renderings in Design Editor.
• Account for site conditions and design around constraints.
• Integrate Design Editor files into Revit/BIM360 for coordination.
• Review order files and DIRTT shop drawings for accuracy.
• Provide DIRTT design guidance as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Understand local building codes and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with other DIRTT departments for project success.
• Develop visual renderings and 3D fly-throughs as needed.
