Job summary

DIRTT is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to represent our brand in the Boston market, partnering with dealers and key clients to drive growth. You will articulate DIRTT’s value, manage opportunities from prospecting through closing, and coordinate with design, manufacturing, and project teams to deliver smart, adaptable interiors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction sales, a strong regional network, and proven success in binding customer needs to DIRTT solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in construction sales or construction management.
  • Vast network in the territory including end users, general contractors, architecture & design community, brokers, tenant representatives.
  • Proven track record of sales success in construction industry.
  • Degree/experience in construction management/technology, architecture, or interior design preferred.
  • Ability to read architectural/construction drawings and specs.

  • Partner with Dealers on joint sales calls and market-facing engagements.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to align on pipeline and growth actions.

Who You Are

As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be the face of DIRTT in your territory, City and or State—partnering with distribution, building influential relationships, creating new opportunities, and showing customers how DIRTT delivers smarter, faster, and more adaptable construction solutions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Partner with Dealers on joint sales calls, customer tours, and market-facing engagements that showcase DIRTT’s value and strengthen partner-led growth.
  • Lead Dealer Quarterly Business Reviews, with Regional Director participation as required, to align on pipeline health, market priorities, performance opportunities, and growth actions.
  • Engage with your team including Regional Director to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue/sales goals including major strategic opportunities.
  • Track and transition opportunities from prospects to closed opportunities in the CRM; work to expand scope throughout the design process including providing additional scope opportunity direction.
  • Present and promote DIRTT products and solutions to customers, showcasing their benefits and value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients including dealer leadership and key sales clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors and provide continuous review of market to identify new partner opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of DIRTT’s products and processes, including manufacturing capabilities and product updates or enhancements.
  • Drive brand awareness in the market (A&D, General Contractors, broker presentations), create visibility in industry associations (BOMA/IFMA/etc.), and participating in networking events. Create and host events to attract end users and construction industry influencers.
  • Participate with your team on negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and secure orders
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, customer interactions, and market trends in Salesforce including entering information in the CRM tool. Presenting regular sales reports and forecasts during weekly pipeline meetings.
  • Be able to demonstrate the value of DIRTT’s proprietary software 'Design Editor' for Sales and Technical Reviews.
  • Understand DIRTT and conventional construction process to educate key stakeholders on DIRTT’s value proposition.
  • Engage regularly with Partners and relevant internal stakeholders to remove roadblocks throughout the sales process.
What You'll Bring
  • Three to five years construction sales or construction management experience required.
  • Three or more years’ experience in the territory and a vast network of relevant contacts (may include end users, general contractors, architecture & design community, commercial reality, brokers, tenant representatives, and other stakeholders in the construction process).
  • A proven track record of Sales success in the construction industry.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in construction management/technology, construction science, architecture, or interior design or related field is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to be conversant with architectural and construction drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Creativity that can envision conceptual design of interior spaces and be able to persuade and implement collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling engagement with Partners and clients of all levels.
