Robb & Stucky Furniture and Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer/Design Consultant to work in our Florida showrooms, guiding clients through design concepts and sales processes. You will prepare presentations, take measurements for our CAD team, and help close sales while maintaining exceptional client relations.

The role emphasizes strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with CAD and MS Office familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or 2–4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in high-end furniture sales.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize; excellent communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with customers who visit our showrooms.
• Prepare design presentations on a project basis using visual media and floor plans.
• Provide accurate measurements to our CAD Team for presentations.
• Efficiently handle sales functions and complete sales records and reports.
• Maintain good interpersonal relations with clients and project a positive company image.
• Interact with Management, Customer Service and Office Support staff as needed.

Job description

The ideal candidate will beresponsible for conceptualizing and creating visually stunning andfunctional interior design while developing a solid client base andpipeline working with customers in our beautiful showrooms. They shouldhave a strong eye for detail and a firm understanding of the principlesof design, color and texture mingled with a sound professional salesbackground as said candidate is responsible for processing salestransactions, returns, special orders and will ensure that all necessarydocumentation is accurate and complete. The Interior Designer/DesignConsultant should be a team player who can, when necessary, provide bothdirection and mentorship to design assistants as well as interactseamlessly with Management, Customer Service and Office Support staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with customers who visit our well-appointed retail showrooms.
• Preparedesign presentations on a project basis, structured or unstructured,dependent on scope, through visual media including but not limited to,fabric, finish, photos and floor plans in house or digitally.
• Provideaccurate measurements to our CAD Team for presentations, utilizes roomplanner program or CAD assistance on studio presentations to clients.
• Assume responsibility for efficiently handling sales functions.
• Effective completion of sales records and reports.
• Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relations with clients.
• Project a genuinely positive company image to the public.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Interior Design or 2 to 4 years related experience and/ortraining or equivalent combination of education and experience inhigh-end furniture sales.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills required.
• Experience/familiarity with CAD, and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• ValidDriver License with a clean driving record and ability to providepersonal transportation to customer homes for in-home appointments.Reliable transportation with verification of minimum state required carinsurance is a requirement of position.
• Solid math abilities.
