Job summary

Robb & Stucky Furniture and Interiors in Boca Raton seeks an Interior Designer to conceptualize visually stunning spaces and guide clients from concept to completion. The role focuses on developing client pipelines and providing design services in our showroom environment.

You will prepare design presentations, coordinate with the CAD team, manage sales processes, and mentor design assistants while maintaining excellent client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field; 2–4 years in high-end furniture sales.
• Strong eye for detail in design, color, and texture.
• Proficient with CAD and MS Office applications.
• ASID certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with customers visiting our well-appointed retail showrooms.
• Prepare design presentations on a project basis using fabric, finishes, photos and floor plans.
• Provide accurate measurements to CAD Team for presentations and use room planner or CAD tools where needed.
• Handle sales transactions, returns, and special orders with accuracy.
• Maintain and complete sales records and reports.
• Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with clients.
• Project a positive company image to the public.

KEY ELEMENTS OF POSITION

Robband Stucky Furniture and Interiors is seeking a creative and talented InteriorDesigner for our Boca Raton showroom. The ideal candidate willbe responsible for conceptualizing and creating visually stunning andfunctional interior design while developing a solid client base and pipelineworking with customers in our beautiful showrooms. The ideal candidate shouldhave a strong eye for detail and a firm understanding of the principles ofdesign, color and texture mingled with a sound professional sales background assaid candidate is responsible for processing sales transactions, returns,special orders and will ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate andcomplete. The Interior Designer should be a team player whocan, when necessary, provide both direction and mentorship to design assistantsas well as interact seamlessly with Management, Customer Service and OfficeSupport staff. Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Work one-on-one with customers whovisit our well-appointed retail showrooms.
• Prepare design presentations on aproject basis, structured or unstructured, dependent on scope, throughvisual media including but not limited to, fabric, finish, photos andfloor plans in house or digitally.
  
• Provide accurate measurements to ourCAD Team for presentations, utilizes room planner program or CADassistance on studio presentations to clients.
• Assume responsibility forefficiently handling sales functions.
• Effective completion of salesrecords and reports.
• Assume responsibility forestablishing and maintaining good interpersonal relations with clients.
• Project a genuinely positive companyimage to the public.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Designor 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalentcombination of education and experience in high-end furniture sales. ASIDcertification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills withexceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task andprioritize.
• Excellent communication andadministrative skills required.
• Experience/familiarity with CAD, andmoderate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver License with a cleandriving record and ability to provide personal transportation to customerhomes for in-home appointments. Reliable transportation with verificationof minimum state required car insurance is a requirement ofposition.
