Job summary

Caliber Company is seeking an Interior Designer to support and lead design efforts through all phases of the design-build process—from concept development to final installation. The ideal candidate will generate creative design ideas and produce accurate technical drawings to support project execution.

Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and construction teams, creating mood boards, detailed drawings, and sourcing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
• NCIDQ Certification preferred.
• 3-5+ years in professional design experience, preferably in design-build or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, materials, finishes and building codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or REVIT for design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to develop cohesive design solutions.
• Create conceptual designs, mood boards, finish palettes, and presentation materials.
• Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Source materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform site visits to verify field conditions and support construction progress.
• Present design concepts clearly to clients.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and industry best practices.
