Job summary

Brobston Group LLC is seeking a Designer for Bespoke Interior Design to lead luxury interior design projects from client consultation through installation. You will create brand-appropriate presentations, oversee space planning and product selections, and coordinate with vendors and external partners.

The role requires strong technical skills, aesthetic judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design or equivalent work experience.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp and space-planning/rendering programs.
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation of presentations and clearly communicate design concepts while ensuring accurate space planning and product selections.
  • Manage multiple phases of the design process including client consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and installations.
  • Qualify and educate potential clients on offered interior design services and deliver a luxury client experience.
  • Provide product expertise for furnishings, hard surfaces and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to source materials and conceptualize products.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and remain engaged in the local design community.

  • Provide product expertise for furnishings, hard surfaces and construction documentation
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to source materials and conceptualize products
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and remain engaged in the local design community
Requirements
  • Degree in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design or equivalent work experience
  • NCIDQ certification preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp and other space-planning/rendering programs
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
  • Experience within a design/architecture firm or high-end furniture or luxury retail preferred; hands-on installation experience preferred
  • Strong artistic skills, excellent verbal and written communication, organization and collaboration skills
  • Frequent travel required, ability to lift/mobilize up to 25 lbs, and driver’s license preferred
