Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Interior Designer to collaborate on LEED and sustainable building projects within a nationally recognized, fully integrated AEC firm.

You will contribute across architecture, engineering, sustainability, and construction disciplines, translating client goals into functional interior environments. A portfolio demonstrating solid interior design experience and a strong understanding of materials, finishes, and budgets is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Experience contributing to interior design projects from concept through completion.
  • Experience developing design concepts, presentations, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.

Job Details
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of professional interior design experience within an architecture, engineering, design, construction, or related professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to interior design projects from concept through completion.
  • Experience developing design concepts, presentations, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Experience with furniture design and/or the furniture selection and procurement process.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, clients, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and project recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with relevant design and documentation software, with strong technical and graphic communication capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong design sensibility combined with practical problem-solving skills and an understanding of project budgets and schedules.
  • Adaptable and willing to take on different responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, proactively supporting the team when priorities change.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong interior design experience, creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.
