Meteor Education is seeking an Interior Designer to support the Southwest Studio, delivering furniture layouts and design solutions for K-12 environments. The role involves creating 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and furniture specifications using Meteor platforms, while collaborating with sales, educators, and project teams.
The candidate should have 3–5+ years of interior design experience, a degree in Interior Design, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CET, and Microsoft Office.

LOCATION: Oakland, San Ramon, Fremont, San Jose, CA or surrounding areas.
COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate of the compensation range Meteor Education reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Final pay within this range will be based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: Annual bonus opportunity

The Meteor Education Interior Designer supports the sales effort by applying design expertise in the creation of furniture layouts, incorporating the Meteor Design Principles to achieve environments that are conducive to high impact learning for K-12 clients. This is guided by our Meteor Core Process that spans the Discovery, Create, Plan, Execute and Sustain phases. The Interior Designer interfaces with a regional Studio team which includes a Managing Director, Sales, Instructional Design (educational specialist), Project Coordination (quoting) and Project Management throughout the client journey.
