Job summary

Meteor Education is seeking an Interior Designer to support the Southwest Studio, focusing on furniture layouts and interior solutions for K-12 environments. The role collaborates with sales and educational specialists to translate client needs into compelling concepts and detailed drawings.

You will work across 2D and 3D deliverables using Meteor software platforms. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of interior design experience, a degree in interior design, and proficiency with AutoCAD,

Qualifications

3–5 years of interior design experience, preferably in the same industry.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Interior Design required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or CET, and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

Attend project programming meetings in person or on Zoom to determine scope.
Collaborate with salesperson and educational specialist to address client needs.
Develop conceptual design solutions reflecting intake information.
Create and present 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and furniture specifications.
Specify furniture finishes and items using our design and quoting software.
