Responsibilities
Work directly with the Principal and Designers in all aspects of the design process from start to finish, including drafting floor plans, elevations, furniture sourcing, pricing, purchase orders, documentation, project management and installations.
Meet with clients directly, both on site and in the studio for design reviews
Manage projects independently, setting internal deadlines and collaborating with the team
Source fabrics, rugs, and furniture from the SFDC
FF&E selection
Custom furniture design, CAD elevations, and documentation
Construction administration: Create schedules, attend site visits, respond to RFIs etc.
Clearly and effectively communicate with vendors, contractors and fabricators
Requirements
4 year college degree in Interior Design
5+ years of experience working at a residential firm
Detail oriented, focused, and highly organized
Team player with high level of initiative
Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and in drawings
Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
Proficient in drafting programs, Adobe Creative Suite, Word and Excel.
