Job summary

WRNS Studio in San Francisco seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join the on-site studio and lead high-performance interior projects. You will design and document interiors across all phases with the design team, developing space plans and FF&E concepts aligned with client goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in interior design or architecture, a professional degree, and strong Revit and rendering skills (Enscape, Lumion, Rhino).

• Experience with medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong Revit and rendering skills (Enscape, Lumion, Rhino).

WRNS Studio is seeking an Interior Designer for our San Francisco Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design and document thoughtful, high-performance interiors across all project phases alongside the design team
• Develop and craft space plans, schematic design work, FF&E concepts, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards, and detailing aligned with client goals
• Collaborate closely with the design team, consultants, and vendors to ensure project execution
• Translate strategy, brand, and culture into compelling spatial solutions
• Convey design intent through clear visual storytelling using Revit and rendering tools
• Participate in design control and documentation of projects in design development, construction document, and supervision phases
• Support project budgeting, value engineering, sustainability goals, and material selection
• Provide mentorship and direction to junior interior designers and staff, where applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture
• Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience in medium to large-scale projects
• Preferred candidate will have a strong background in workplace interiors and planning
• Expertise in Revit and proficiency in 3D rendering tools such as Enscape, Lumion, or Rhino
• Strong space planning skills and knowledge of systems, furniture, interior finishes and workplace standards
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility in all phases of interior architecture projects
• Leads with curiosity and is a creative problem solver with excellent communication, collaboration, planning and presentation skills
• Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks, such as LEED, WELL, and Fitwel
• Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam proficiency preferred
