Role Description

This full-time hybrid Interior Designer role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the design team on residential projects from initial concept through installation, including client consultations, space planning, material and finish selection, and development of design presentations. Daily responsibilities include producing drawings and specifications, sourcing and coordinating FF&E, preparing mood boards, and maintaining project documentation and timelines. The role also involves site visits, coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors, and participation in installations to ensure design intent is realized. The Interior Designer will contribute to maintaining the firm’s design standards while supporting a smooth, high-touch client experience.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential environments.
  • Candidates should possess foundational Architecture knowledge and the ability to interpret and collaborate on built-environment concepts.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in creating and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
  • Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furnishings, and accessories.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office) is beneficial.
  • Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are important.
  • Experience with high-end residential design, vendor coordination, and onsite project work is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members, and to work in a hybrid office/home setting.
