Granoff Architects in Greenwich, CT is seeking an Interior Designer with 4–7 years of experience to join our human-centered interiors team. The role focuses on developing documentation, coordinating finishes, and moving projects from concept through construction in a collaborative, BIM-enhanced environment.
You will work on multifamily, commercial, and residential projects with strong emphasis on technical accuracy, detail, and coordination across disciplines.
Granoff Architects is seeking a talented and well-rounded Interior Designer to join our Greenwich, Connecticut studio.
We are looking for a designer with strong technical and project-delivery skills who also brings thoughtful design judgment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative interiors team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable taking a design concept developed with the team and carrying it through documentation, detailing, coordination and construction. This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys solving technical problems, developing drawing sets, coordinating materials and finishes, and helping keep projects organized and moving forward.
Our work spans multifamily, commercial and single-family residential design, with projects throughout the Northeast and across the country, as well as occasional international work. As an integrated architecture and interiors practice with close ties to Granoff Real Estate, our designers also have the opportunity to work directly on development projects and see how design decisions carry through construction, operations and the long-term life of a building.
Our interiors team believes strong design comes from collaboration.
For larger and more design-intensive projects, team members work together during the early concept and design phases, bringing different perspectives and strengths to the table before dividing project responsibilities and deliverables.
We value designers who are comfortable contributing ideas, asking questions and solving problems collectively, while also taking ownership of their individual responsibilities once the direction is established. This approach allows designers to develop their individual strengths while contributing to work that reflects the thinking of the team as a whole.
Granoff Architects is a family-owned architecture and design firm with a diverse portfolio spanning architecture, interiors and planning. Our work ranges from private residences to multifamily communities, commercial environments and large-scale redevelopment projects.
Our relationship with Granoff Real Estate, our affiliated real estate development platform, gives our team a perspective that extends beyond traditional design practice. We think about how buildings are designed, built, financed, operated and experienced over time and give our designers opportunities to participate in that broader process. We are also actively investing in the future of our practice, including Revit, visualization technology, AI-assisted workflows and other tools that can make our design process more creative, collaborative and efficient. We encourage team members to help shape how those tools are incorporated into the firm.
At the same time, we remain a close-knit, family-owned practice that values collaboration, professional growth and work-life balance. Team members participate in internal interest and professional-development groups, twice-annual firm field trips, educational opportunities and firm-wide summer and winter events.
This position is based at our studio at 330 Railroad Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut.
