Job summary

Granoff Architects in Greenwich, CT, is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Greenwich studio on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote). This role emphasizes converting design concepts into fully coordinated documentation for multifamily, commercial, and residential interiors.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of interior design experience, a degree in interior design, and strong technical skills in construction documents.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional interior design experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Strong technical foundation with experience developing interior construction documents and details.
• Experience with construction administration, consultant coordination, and field conditions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud; Revit strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interiors team during programming, concept development, and schematic design.
• Own project transitions and handovers, carrying design concepts through documentation, coordination, and execution.
• Develop and coordinate interior construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, and schedules.
• Support delivery of large-scale multifamily and commercial interiors projects, including FF&E coordination.
• Manage construction administration across multiple active projects, including submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
• Coordinate materials, finishes, millwork, lighting, hardware, and other interior components.
• Assist with specifications, pricing, substitutions, and value-engineering while protecting design intent.
• Work with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors to resolve issues.
