Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Designer to elevate in-store and in-home experiences through design expertise and sales acumen. You will guide customers from concept to presentation, creating moodboards, 2D/3D floor plans, and compelling product lists while promoting our design services and loyalty programs.

You will collaborate with store teams to ensure timely follow‑up, maintain brand aesthetics, and stay current with home trends and technology.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Furniture Sales/ Home Decor Design or retail/ customer service experience.
• Experience working one on one with clients and recommending solutions.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, design tool experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic design functions including spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a differentiated customer experience through design consultations.
• Create moodboards and 2D/3D floor plans to present client proposals.
• Lead in-store and in-home design sessions and follow up on projects.
• Maintain brand standards in product presentation and design services.
• Develop lasting client relationships and contribute to design program growth.
