Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. in Wichita, KS seeks a Design Consultant to create personalized design solutions within client budgets, sell Ethan Allen products, and represent the brand in every interaction.

You will leverage social media, grass-roots marketing, and design-center tools to build a client book, meet monthly sales benchmarks, and participate in corporate marketing programs. Full-Time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one year of practical interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a design-related field is desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Good listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using social media for grass-roots marketing to develop a book of business.
• Valid driver's license, with ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions that align with the customer's preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services.
• Represent the Ethan Allen brand in all customer interactions and schedule appointments.
• Utilize grassroots marketing and a variety of social media platforms to grow the business.
• Educate customers about the complimentary design service and available financing options.
• Stay current on design trends and coordinate with the team to provide exceptional service.
• Enter orders utilizing the retail point of sale system and keep customers informed of order status.
• Participate in corporate marketing and training programs.
