Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start-to-finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with the customers we serve. You meet with customers, listen to project needs, educate them on requirements, and develop a design concept that reflects their personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

As part of the role you greet clients, schedule design appointments, advise on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential and commercial projects, and design

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of interior design or related retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking, referrals, and store leads.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication.
