Job summary

HOK is seeking an Interior Designer to perform basic design tasks with instruction, supporting a project team through phases. The role emphasizes sustainable design and collaboration within a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design, 0–3 years of experience, and LEED credential within 12 months. Some travel and overtime may be required as part of project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design (or foreign equivalent).
• 0–3 years’ experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• LEED credential required within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Modifies and prepares production drawings during design development phase.
• Corrects and updates design documents.
• Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
• Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Builds models for client/project team review.
• Compiles data and performs elementary design computations.
• Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable practices.
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
