Job summary

Hyde Park Interiors, a high-end interior design firm in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an Assistant Designer to support lead designers in creating luxurious residential spaces, using industry knowledge and creativity to bring client visions to life.

You will develop schematic designs, draft furniture plans and elevations, source presentations, attend client meetings, and assist with budgets, schedules, site visits and installs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of interior design assisting, interning, and degree in Interior Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials and high-end residential design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop schematic designs for residential spaces.
• Draft furniture plans and elevations.
• Source and prepare client presentations and mood boards.
• Attend client meetings and assist with budgets and schedules.
• Attend site visits regularly and assist during installs.

The Assistant Designer will help and support lead designers in creating functionally beautiful spaces for residential high-end clients while using industry knowledge, design experience, innovative design concepts and creativity. Responsibilities include developing schematic designs, drafting furniture plans and elevations, sourcing and preparing presentations, attending client meetings, maintaining budgets and all schedules, attending site visits regularly and helping throughout installs.

• MUST have at least 1 year of interior design assisting, interning, and degree in Interior Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs and Spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications helpful
• Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for high end residential environments desired
• Great ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team, fearless and ambitious
• Must be GREAT at follow through!
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
