Our projects require an exceptional level of organization, attention to detail, professionalism, communication, and follow-through. We are looking for an Interior Design Assistant to join our team and play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the studio. This is a primarily administrative position with opportunities to support our design team and assist with client and vendor communication, marketing initiatives, and other project-related tasks. The ideal candidate is excited to work in a fast-paced, high-end design environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Experience in interior design, luxury residential design, hospitality, client services, or a related field is a plus.

Position Overview:

The Interior Design Assistant will provide primarily administrative and operational support to the LMI team, with additional responsibilities related to client relations, design support, and marketing.

This person will help keep the studio organized and projects moving forward by coordinating schedules, assisting with client and vendor communication, maintaining project information, supporting designers with project tasks, and helping with marketing and studio initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants exposure to the business, creative, and client-facing sides of a luxury interior design firm.

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operations
  • Manage and coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, site visits, presentations, and team schedules
  • Assist with day-to-day office administration and studio organization
  • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and internal tracking
  • Support the team with general administrative projects as needed
Client Relations
  • Assist with client and vendor communication, scheduling, follow-ups, and meeting coordination
  • Assist with preparing for client presentations, meetings, and events
  • Help create a seamless and elevated client experience from initial contact through project completion
Design Support
  • Assist designers with day-to-day project needs
  • Help organize and track finish selections, samples, materials, and product information
  • Help prepare materials for client presentations and design meetings
Marketing & Business Development
  • Assist with social media and marketing initiatives
  • Assist with content preparation and scheduling
  • Help maintain the firm's online presence and marketing files
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Professional, polished, and personable demeanor
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential client and business information
  • Strong computer skills and comfort learning new software and systems
  • Reliable follow-through and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, client-services, hospitality, or similar role
  • Experience working with high-end or discerning clientele
  • Experience with marketing, social media, or content creation
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Google Drive, Canva, Airtable, and Adobe (or similar programs)
  • Experience with project-management or design-industry software
  • Knowledge of furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes, or other interior design products
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized - You naturally keep track of details, deadlines, schedules, and moving pieces.
  • Proactive - You see what needs to be done and take initiative rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Polished & professional - You understand the level of service and communication expected in a luxury environment.
  • Personable- You enjoy working with clients, vendors, and teammates and know how to build positive relationships.
  • Detail-oriented- You notice the small things and take pride in getting them right.
  • Adaptable- You are comfortable switching between administrative, client, and design-related tasks throughout the day.
  • Tech-savvy- You learn new programs and systems quickly.
  • A team player- You enjoy supporting others and contributing to the overall success of the studio.
  • Calm under pressure - You can prioritize and stay organized when multiple projects require attention at once.
Schedule:

Full-Time | Monday - Friday

This is an in-office position based in Juno Beach, Florida, with occasional off-site responsibilities related to client meetings, showrooms, installations, deliveries, and project sites.

Compensation:
